Early Labour?

Hi All. Sorry it's me again with a stupid question lol, but I was wondering whether I could be heading towards early labour/ Let me explain...

Woke up this morning and went to the loo (as you do). Noticed a bit of slimey discharge that I have not experienced previously. There was no more when I wiped so thought no more of it.

Went to the loo a bit later and there was some more so I'm thinking this could be a show? There isn't loads and loads of it but I have noticed it 3 times today.

Have been having lower back ache all day and the odd twinge in my bump, but nothing to get excited about. I did have painful cramps a couple of nights ago but since then - no cramps of any kind. Have been shattered all day, spending most of it in bed. Can't get comfortable, everything aches.

Added to this, I have been having hot flushes every hour or so and every now and then I feel a bit wet down below. Not sure if this is because I am sweating during these flushes or what it is. The wetness is clear and doesn't smell (sorry if TMI) so was wondering if it could be my waters breaking? I didn't have this the first time so I can't compare.

The baby's movements have slowed down considerably over the course of the day. He was late waking up this morning and apart from 2 quite vigorous movements, has been fairl quiet although I can still feel him and see my bump moving.

I was wondering if I should speak to a MW tomorrow, and see what happens tonight or just wait and see if anything happens? The aches are not too bad, just niggly and annoying.

I'm 39+6 and am sooo ready to have this baby now.

They all sound like good lovely signs to me.

Not sure whether that means you will have this baby tomorrow or not but I would say things are definately moving in the right direction.

I wouldn't call mw unless you start contracting though. Unless of course you're worried about anything.

Try to sleep, you may need your stength

ps. sounds like might be show to me, you didn't mention colour, but I remember experiencing increase in white slime in the lead up and then brownish/redish shortly before (irrc twas a while ago)
Not sure about waters mine, both didn't break til fully established labour.

could well be - but the only other thing to think about with those symptoms is a urine infection - you don't always get burning when you pe sometimes just backache, feeling sweaty and achey etc
if you don't go into labour tomorrow i would suggest seeing GP/midwife to test your urine
good luck - hope it is labour!
