Silly question really but do you bleed pretty much straight after the birth or does it take a few hours to come through?

straight away. lots.

lulumama · 27/05/2008 19:51

it is pretty much immediate as the bleeding comes from the site where the placenta detaches.

You bleed through the birth to a certain extent...but the bleeding you are thinking about starts after baby is delivered before placenta.
