Still bleeding after seven weeks...

Hi all

My DD will be seven weeks old tomorrow and I'm still bleeding, has anyone lasted this long? I had a csection so the doctor said all my placenta would have been removed.

I'm not sure but I think I may have got a period before I stopped bleeding from birth - is that possible? I have pcos so my hormones are out of whack generally.

Thanks!

Bleeding is still normal at seven weeks, nothing to worry about unless you suddenly start flooding or producing chunks, or it is smelly.

Ah that is reassuring. My mate said she only bled for a month and I took her as the authority... I will see if it is still going next week!
