Hi, if anyone’s got time can I hear a short summary of your positive vbac. Had emcs sue to baby distress after successful induction in Feb. Would love to have lots of babies if possible. Really want that VBAC (not yet pregnant but would like to be 1 year after first birth ideally leaving at least 18 months between births)

I had a home VBAC 5 years after my c-section. Was so lovely and healing and made it a much easier experience. I have heard many similar stories.

I had a successful VBAC two years after an EMCS, and have since had a second VBAC for my third. Both were very straightforward, quick labours. I waited for spontaneous labour with both.

If I'd needed an induction with DC 2 or 3, I think I would have declined and gone for an ELCS because I wanted to give myself the best chance of a successful VBAC and not risk an assisted delivery. I had a good CS experience the first time around but wanted 3-4 kids so knew VBAC would be better if achievable.

My EMCS was due to a failed induction after my waters went but labour didn't start - got to 10cm dilated on the drip but baby didn't want to exit 😂I think getting to fully dilated definitely helped with my VBACs as my body had done the hard bit before.

I had two VBAC babies after an emergency c-section. Both very straightforward and easy.
At the time the hospital wanted me to have another section but I didn’t want that. It was all very ordinary. X
