A show??

Sorry to be graphic but curious. I didn't have one the first time round - just a mega gush when waters broke. Second birth is imminent and for the last wee while there has been a rubbery goo but it's more greeny/yellowy/cream with no traces of blood. Could this be it or am I just odd?

urm duno, I managed a show at 4cm dilated.....it had blood in it and was creamy goo.....

rubbery goo definitely sounds promising, not sure about the greeny bit though. Mine looked like the jelly from round a pork pie (which is what I remind dh of every time he takes a bite out of one)

Due on Sunday - perhaps a better description would be like that glue you used to get at school that went rubbery when it dried.

I'm never eating a pork pie again

can't rememmber a show, i bled alot (on bedroom carpet....cream!!) and went straight in.

33 weeks pregnant for the first time so don't have any direct experience myself. However, I've been told that the show looks like a large snot, often streaked with blood. Dried rubbery glue sounds similar.

my show was just a little blood in my urine. midwife broke my waters in hospital (serves her right !!!)

Nothing happening yet!!! LOL Haufrau.

At night it all seems like it's about to go and I need a hoist (love that word) to turn me over in bed but by morning junior goes back to sleep and I feel fine (apart from the continual wee-ing)

5 days to go but fed up waiting. Still given that it's snowy here, a mad rush to the hospital on icy roads doesn't instill me with glee

i had a show today like you say snotty but blood stained i am not due till feb 15th but having slight twinges fingrers crossed i am ready

Jampots - PMSL!!

Only had shows with ds3 and there was LOADS of it! I imagined a small plug that just came the once but it just kept coming for about 3 or 4 days before. Sounds like you describe but definitely had blood in it.
