Jivegirl's transverse update - to section or not?

Hi ladies,

Just to update you all following the 'why are so many women anti-section' thread..

Well I had my consultant appointment today - and I'm thrilled to say that DD#2 has managed to shift herself into head down position at last!

So I don't have to have a section - and after reading everyone's comments I told the consultant I'd opt for natural delivery as he reckons i have a 95% chance of having an intervention-free, non-complicated birth.

Keep your fingers crossed for me it's a better experience than last time.. I'll let you know in 4 weeks or so!

Hey thats great. I had to have emergency section with 1st and only in Nov last year. He was ready to come out but strapped in by the cord lol
Not against them at all and in fact quite worried for next time if there is one that might have scheduled section - if I wasnt in being induced who wouldve known he was trapped?!!
