homeopathy in labour

Has anyone used homeopathic remedies in labour? Heard lots about arnica, but not a lot about anything else.

I've actually never visited a homeopath in my life, but it sounds vaguely interesting... Anyone got any thoughts/experiences/words of wisdom?

It seems to have a lot of support, my friend found it invaluable. You can buy a labour kit with all the treatments you might need in it, not sure where from but I imagine places like Neal's Yard might be able to point you in the right direction.

Arnica is great, but I wouldn't bother buying a kit again. I passed mine on to someone on here, having barely used it.

I've used it for 4 births, but am still a bit about it.

I bought a little kit like the one foxy recommended. It was the only pain relief I used and whether it worked or not, it did no harm and gave me control over my pain IYSWIM

thanks for the link Foxy. I'm inclined to give it a go, since the worst it can do is nothing!

Anyone else got any stories about it?

Its not going to do any harm, is it?

I took Caulphyllium two weeks before my due date, and DS1 came bang on time. Same for DS2. Took it for DD1, 10 days late. DD2, 13 days late.

I have a friend who had a C-Section and she swears by it for a speedy recovery.
