If your first was early was your second early too?

My first came at 38 weeks, 2 days before a scheduled C-section due to being breach. If your first came a few weeks early was your second early too? I’m having a C-section again and would obviously hope to avoid a middle of the night trip to the hospital like last time, especially since DH would need to stay at home with DD until nursery opened or my sister could come (lives 2 hours away).

This won't be helpful - but first baby arrived exactly on the due date, second was born 2 weeks early, third was 3 weeks early and fourth I insisted they induce me 3 days after due date as I had SPD, reduced foetal movements, was massive and insisted 3 days over is LATE for me!

All healthy and weighed between 8 and 10lb

Mine was 27 weeks (no reason) and 40 weeks (felt like I won the lottery )

First was one month early (no risk factors - it’s just happened!) second one two months early (again no risk factors…other than the first had been slightly prem!)

My first was 38+2 (induced 48hrs after waters broke 38+0 and nothing happened).
Second was 36+0 (totally of his own accord)
Third was 40+0 (spontaneous labour, extremely fast 🫠)

My two were exactly the same gestational age. With my second the obstetrician didn't want me going over 40 weeks but told me she didn't think it likely I'd have a longer second pregnancy.

I do know someone that had a first baby on due date and an overdue second baby so obviously it's not impossible.

All four of mine were earlier than due date to varying amounts - No1 and 2 were 38wks, No3 was 38+4 and No4 was 39+5 (by which point I was desperate for her to be born as I felt overdue 🤣)
