Thoughts on Lindo wing vs Kensington?

Wanted to hear people's latest thoughts/ experiences of Lindo wing, Kensington or any other private maternity wards in London?

To give context, I gave birth over 5 years ago at the Kensington Ward (C+W) which we chose because of location, although toured both hospitals at the time. We have since moved and now Lindo Wing is more convenient for us, which is a plus for me.

Would be good to know the current pros and cons of the hospitals and if anything has changed since I last gave birth.

TIA!

I had mine at the Kensington. Bit more recent than you but by much so I don’t know that I have much to add that you wouldn’t already know. What about your doctor? If I had another baby I’d be inclined to stick with the obstetrician so long as their office for appointments wasn’t inconvenient. I think the post natal care will be equally good at either. Both have the NHS stuff on site for emergencies. I imagine it’s much of a much.

Thank you for responding. Although my obstetrician is still at Kensington, he actually was delayed on holiday during my labour and birth so I didn't get to see him at all. The step-in obstetrician was amazing mind you, however I do not necessarily feel tied down to a specific consultant as a result. I do agree with it likely being much of a much, but curious to see what people's thoughts are. Less worried about the afternoon tea/ food options as my "need" for them all went out of the window during my first labour😂
