Latent phase

How long did your latent phase of labour last?

I’m utter fed up. Can I do anything to speed this up.

3 weeks with dc1 (sorry)
4 days with f2f
12 hours with dc3
Dc4 was an elective c-section
About 5 hours with dc5

My actual labours were all really quick (1.5 hours - 4 hours) apart from dc5 who was born by c-section before Labour got going.

From 1:30am first contraction... To 9:30pm 5cm dilated... 20 hours. Then from 5-10cm including pushing, 4 hours.

Spent the whole day in silence, breathing, do things to get your oxytocin hormone flowing not any stress or adrenaline.
