What did you lovely ladies do before labour started?

intended or not.

Looking for inspiration & a giggle.

Everything 😂
Went for a walk, had a bath, had sex, expressed some colostrum, ate a (not so spicy - thanks heartburn) curry, bounced a the yoga ball - the full cliché!
Worked though! Went into labour that night, DC was born bang on 39 weeks!
Now expecting again so I might see how many more old wives tales I can get through. Contemplating making a labour trick bingo card 🤣

Full cliché on the daily here, sadly no signs of baby coming yet!

One that I didn’t try but apparently “works” is walking along a kerb. So one foot is on the pavement and the other is on the road. I really wasn’t convinced by the theory plus it seemed unwise at 39 weeks pregnant to trust road users!

It's an old wives tale but I ate almost an entire fresh pineapple and went into labour a few hours later. The indigestion was pretty bad though.
