I’m 40+4 as a ftm- yesterday I had slightly painful tightenings all day accompanied with back pain and in the night a really bad constant period pain that went away when I woke up.

Today I’ve had no symptoms all day- no Braxton hicks, no tightenings, no backache and im just frustrated 🫠
i dont think ive lost my plug yet and my water hasn’t broken either. What can i do to move the process along!!
we’ve tried all the home inducing methods

Have you felt any leaking? When I went into slow labour I had the pains described then the next day nothing but when I went in to get checked I was about 2cm it could also be a uti maybe phone the maternity unit just to make sure everything’s okay

No leaking at all, I had a phase of more discharge but even that’s stopped now too

First time Mum, you are barely over due. Relax. I know, easier said than done.

I had irregular on and off contractions at 41 weeks for 3 nights before I gave birth. It was so frustrating thinking things were starting and then going nowhere but it was all worth it in the end. I got so fed up I begged for an induction and they put me on the list but I ended up going into labour spontaneously and having the exact birth I wanted - hang in there!
