Sharp pulling pain two weeks after cesarean

I had a cesarean two and half weeks ago and until today everything has been healing very quickly. At all my midwife checks they've been pleased with how the scar is healing. Today I've had a sharper pulling kind of sensation on the left hand side, which is quite sore. Enough to stop me, but also still able to pick up my baby and walk around etc. Has anyone else had this?

Hi 👋

I’ve just had my second section 4 days ago, first was 6 years ago nearly.

i get pains either side of the scar, i remembered from last time the midwife said it is usually more painful on the corners of the incision because that’s where you’ve been cut the deepest… could be that? I’ve had mine starting on my right this time. Know I’m early days but that’s what I’m putting it down to.

just make sure you dry it after showers etc properly with the cool setting on the hairdryer.

I do recall similar and think it was to do with muscle knitting together, but think it’s best to check if you’re at all unsure.

I'm now about three and a half months postpartum, and I still get the odd pain and pulling feeling. But I did over do things from day one, couldnt be helped. If it goes away and doesn't continue to hurt it probably is just normal healing annoying c section pains.

However make sure you not over doing it, if that's the cause then do go get it checked again if it continues to hurt. If it stops then just your body complaining at you.

Left side can also be appendix, so if the pain at any point becomes unreal, and you get ill from it. Get that checked.
