Membrane sweep

I’ve had 2 sweeps that failed. Is it worth having a third today? Anyone had multiple which seemed to do the trick and put you into labour? Trying to avoid induction desperately…

I had 2 that did very little, lost hope but desperately wanted to avoid induction. Went for a third and I started having contractions within the hour. DD was born 3 hours later!

Trying to decide whether to go for one tomorrow at 39+3… I had a couple of sweeps with my eldest though still ended up being induced - was only 39+1 though.

@Elephantin I’ve had two so far. Due next one tomorrow, haven’t done much for me but good luck 🤞🏻

I had my 1st one today at 40weeks. Wasn’t painful or even very uncomfortable so hoping that’s a good sign 🤞🏼 MW said cvx was veryyyy soft but that baby’s head was only 4/5 engaged - still unsure what that means!

Unfortunately couldn’t have mine. Baby’s head has come out of my pelvis ☹️☹️

I decided not to go for mine today, and re-booked for later in the week.

@Elephantin I was a bit disappointed ☹️ but she said it can happen with the more babies you have so doesn’t mean he won’t be engaged tomorrow. I have an elective induction booked for tomorrow so I’m going to try everything today to make sure he’s in the correct position.

Baby arrived 27-03-25 23:28 weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces. Awful labour and ended up with C-section but it now is all worth it to just be staring at him xx

Still no sign of anything here. I had convinced myself it would happen this week.
