hi just lost plug after having a sweep on monday, how long have other mums gone after losing plug before going into labour?

I don't think the sweep is what made the plug move... your cervix is moving girl !

daft this i know its my fifth but still scared as well as excited. Its dh first he is trying to be calm but is likely to have kittens before i have baby lol

not late, just big baby i am due on sat and was booked in for inducement on 20th jan. Last db was 9lb 10oz and 10 days late.

2 grown up children 2 still at home. 20, 18, 11 and 5. My daughter 20 wants to come in with me as dh is scared he will pass out. Am booked for an epidural so it wont be so bad but he is still worried, so daughter is there for back up.

Oh! Not what I expected at all! Was about to give you sensible advice about purchasing universal travel plugs from the quite quite mad Magellan's catalogue...

If you are not contracting, a bath isn't going to slow anything down.

having contractions, quite strong but not painful and not close enough to time yet.

I always end up having my waters broken before things really speed up.Last time 2 hours to dilate and 15 min to push db out.But was in hospital for 3 hours and only went from 3 to 4 cm before they decided to break waters.
