Hi guys, just a quick one, my first child is 6 months old in 2 weeks and I’ve found out I’m pregnant with my 2nd I had a CS with my 1st and I want a CS with my 2nd, I’m quite scared of the risks due to getting pregnant already with my 2nd it was a complete surprise and now my anxiety is through the roof, I’m constantly thinking somethings gonna happen to me if I have another CS 13 months after already having one can someone help me please I’m honestly so scared it’s makes me want to be sick all the time any thoughts or advice

There are risks with both a C-section or vaginal birth so soon after a C-section are high, things like rupturing of the initial wound late in pregnancy as it won't have fully healed and nerve damage, that's why they recommend waiting a minimum of 12-18 months

Your midwife would go over all the risks and advise you on the safest option.

Do you still have access to aftercare midwife? I would give them a call. I would speak to a medic
