Trying to put third labour theory to the test. How did baby/birth compare to 1 & 2?
My first: 7 hours, 1 week overdue 9lbs 4oz. Ventouse, episomoty, g&air only.
2nd: 3 hours, 1 day early 9lbs 4oz. g&air only.

Mine were a bit of a mix. First and third quite similar though in length of labour. Good luck!

My first - 12hrs active (but slow) labour after having been induced (pessary for 24hrs which didn't work so had to go on the drip and have my waters broken). Lots of diamorphine! 7lbs 3oz

Second - naturally went into labour, was quick, only about 3hrs. Gas and air only. 5lbs 14oz.

Third - 7hrs intense labour after another induction (balloon, which worked but no room on labour ward so had to wait 24hrs for a free bed!). Gas and air only. 7lbs 4oz.

My first was an induction as ten days overdue, fairly protracted labour, 7lbs 8oz but normal delivery.
Second came naturally ten days overdue, but very very speedy labour and baby born weighing just on five pounds, very small and it seemed that the placenta had been failing.
Third baby was induced, as was three WEEKS late (they kept reassessing my dates, until I got to the stage where I was begging for an induction - I was so over being pregnant!). Born five hours after induction, very smooth labour (it was the midwife's first solo delivery, she was training) and weighed just under 8lbs.

Four and five were no problem either. Third was my last induction.

1st 5 hours water birth at midwife led unit on due date 7.11 lbs
2nd 2 hours water birth at home on due date 10lbs

3rd 40 mins shower birth at home no midwives (not planned but they didnt arrive in time, didnt believe i was in labour) week late from due date but I suspect that's because I didnt feel safe enough to give birth as the midwives were not great. I'm on the border of two county's and had my care swapped over in the last week before birth no one seemed to want to support a home birth even though I labour very quickly. I didn't want to freebirth.
9.9lbs

Fast and three weeks early! Was only in the labour suite for about 15 mins.
The whole labour was about 1.5/2 hours although my waters broke about 8 hours before contractions started.

First two labours were 14 hours and 9 hours. Fourth was three contractions, we didn't make it to hospital.

First - three days late, contractions began gently at 4pm, baby born at 3am the following morning, g&air

Second - about ten days late (I was due to be induced on the day she arrived), contractions began at 9pm, baby born at 8am, g&air and TENS

Third - I was about a week overdue according to their calculations (although not mine) so was induced with a pessary. Contractions began suddenly about 12 hours later and baby arrived within a couple of hours - it was a quick, easy and (relatively) painless delivery. G&air and TENS

1st - 9 days late 3 hours. Just g&a no stitches.

2nd - 5 days late 3 hours just g&a no stitches.

3rd - 5 days early 12 hours g&a then epidural, ventouse and stitches.
