following a sweep yesterday am now getting contractions which are really beginnning to hurt! - can't walk with them now - but the pain is mostly in the front and down low so will TENS help with this as obviously the machine goes on my back?

(no idea if contractions are regular - no chance to time then as looking after DS )

I would put it on - the TENS is designed to help with all contraction pain , not just back pain.

Good luck

Yep, slap the machine on if you're feeling any discomfort.

My wife now swears by them after having our first baby back in Feb. The pain killing aspect is amazing she said.

The pads still need to go on your back, 2 about 2 inches from your spine in from your shoulder blades and two, the same distance from your spine near your kidneys.

Best of luck, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Yes, it does help. Get it on as soon as you can, because the effect takes a while to build up.

Good luck!
