Pre assessment before C Section

Hi, anyone had their babies at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford via planned c section in the last year?
How long after your Pre Assessment did you have the surgery? I am dieing to know!

What's a pre assessment? I'm 34 weeks having a planned section and nothings been mentioned to me about that. Do you mean a pre op? If so that's usually the day before your section. If sections booked for a Monday it'll probably be done on the Friday before

It’s apparently where they go over what to expect from the surgery, give you any medication if required , take your bloods if required and talk about some stuff I think. Xx

@Sam1144 that's what's been described to me as the pre op..so yes shall be done the day before the section or a couple of days before. When you see consultant too book the section they can also talk you through the procedure and what to expect but meds and bloods will be just before the procedure xx

My pre-op is Monday and my section is Wednesday. It’s not always the day before.
