After pains with second baby

Gave birth to my second baby on Tuesday and every time I feed her and just after it's like mild contractions again. They are absolutely agonising and I'm keep having to have baths to ease the pain.
How long did they last for you?
Taking paracetamol but doesn't do much.

For me about a week, the first 3 ir 4 days were the worst. Congratulations on your new baby! DC2 was born in a hurry with no time even for gas and air but boy did I need painkillers for those first few days of afterpains! If you're worried maybe get it checked but chances are it's your body working super efficiently to shrink the uterus back down to size.

About a week here too.
