First baby was breech

I had my daughter in March 2023 and she was born breech (undiagnosed). They've realized she was coming bum first when I started pushing.
Anyway, I'm pregnant again and due in March (again) 2025 and I'm wondering how likely is for the second baby to be breech as well?

I delivered vaginally as there was no time for EMCS, she was coming out already.
She was fine, I was fine, but the experience traumatized me! I suddenly had 10 people in the room discussing over me what to do, at one point I thought she won't make it...
I do understand babies can be born frank breech but the unknown terrified me...

I will ask for additional scans on my next appointment next week but just out of curiosity, what are the chances of my second being breech?

It sounds horrific, I am so sorry to hear that.
My first was breech, the second was not.
I would not think that a breech baby indicates that the next one would be likely to be breech too, but I am no expert. In any case, you might be able to ask for a CS?

@LiberteEgaliteBeyonce I'm hoping this baby will be in the right position because I would prefer vaginal birth, but obviously will go for a CS if baby is breech, I am definitely not going through that shit show again.

The midwife has mentioned to me that there is a slight chance for a second baby to be breech as well 😅 hope not

First breech, delivered by ECS. At the time I was told that my baby was too big to turn as I'm really small. My baby was 7lb 12.

My second was not breech and delivered without a CS. He was 8lb 9.

I was offered a second ECS if that was what I wanted.
