Just that.

Need a rant.

Been having labor like symptoms on and off since about 35 weeks. Few episodes of RFM that all turned out fine thankfully. Breech until 35 weeks. Baby was engaged at 36 weeks then completely out of the pelvis at 38 weeks.

I'm puffy. Tired. Sore... All the wonderful things and all while trying to make the Christmas magic for my older children.

I have a great support system but I'm just so fed up waiting now. I've been on tender hooks since 35 weeks. I've never got this far in a pregnancy so it's all a bit new to me.

I've walked. I've bounced. I've relaxed. I've expressed. I've kerb walked. I've eaten spicier foods. I've DTD. I've walked more. I've done yoga. I've done the do nothing approach. Now I'm at the sit on my ball all day and nap the rest of the time while I try keep sanity and keep the frustration at bay.

Anyone else in a similar position fancy joining my "have a moan" club?

Yessssss. I've been in latent phase for 20 hours and have gone from feeling so excited things were starting to depressed and miserable as they're not ramping up. I just want this over and done with now!

Oh that is exciting but definitely dragging for you...

I fear I'll be out of energy by the time it comes!

Yep, I'm 38+4 and just want to meet her now. FTM so no doubt she'll be late. 🫠 think I'll buy and eat a whole pineapple tomorrow. Probably lose my tongue in the process. 🤣

@WeeCee it would be worth it to get baby on the move 🤣 I've never made it past 38 weeks with previous pregnancies so I'm baffled that this little one doesn't want to leave and isn't even engaged!
