Hi guys,

I’m about 4.5 weeks post c section.

Totally had a mind fart earlier and squatted for a few minutes to look for something in a cupboard. Do you think I will have caused damage to myself, or do you think at this point it should be okay? I’m ever so worried about it. I just didn’t think at all.

Your be fine congratulations

TillyTrifle · 02/12/2024 14:41

I read that as ‘had a mild fart and squatted’ and was then bracing myself for the next part of the story 😂

I hope you’re feeling ok now, I’m sure you will be fine.

Negangirlxx · 02/12/2024 14:47

Oh thank god.
I’m such a worrier when it comes to surgery and things like that.

@TillyTrifle that’s hilarious! I wish that was the story! 😂😂

It’ll be fine.

I was specifically told by the consultant that squatting ie bending with your knees and keeping your upper body straight is exactly what you should be doing to avoid any twisting or hunching over. But also 4.5 weeks post section you’ll be well on your way to full recovery anyway. If it didn’t hurt then you’re all good!

FionaSkates · 02/12/2024 14:56

If I were a betting woman I would be putting a lot of money on you being outright absolutely fine xx

milkysmum · 02/12/2024 15:45

I've had 2 sections. I have no recollection of being told not to squat, if I'm honest. I think I was told not to drive for a few weeks? ( but did as soon as I felt able to) I'm absolutely sure you'll be fine. Congratulations.

sel2223 · 02/12/2024 17:13

If it didn't hurt while you were doing it and hasn't caused any issues since then I can't see any problem.

Thank you everyone for the advice!
