Tender 3 months post c section

Hi,

I had a c section 3.5 months ago and my tummy is still very tender and painful when pressed. I’m not talking scar pain as I do also get a bit of that if I overdo it but general tenderness across most of my lower tummy. It hurts for example if my dog jumps up on me if I hold my baby on my tummy. Has anyone else experienced this and when did it start getting better? I saw my GP at 9 weeks post partum and she said it was normal and some people just take longer to recover than others. That was 6 weeks ago now with no improvement since and it’s getting me down.

@Mumto2boys33 yes, ended up seeing an obstetrician and she said it was worse because I was fully dilated at c section. Started seeing an improvement at 7 months pp and it was mostly gone by 1 year pp! I just never expected it to take so long!
