A bit confused...

just a quick question, im 5 days overdue now and just trying the whole nipple stimulation thing again (only tried it the once before) but this time its almost like water thats coming out, is this normal? before it was more yellowy and i only did it for 5 mins on the one side andthen gave up (thinking that i was only 2 days over and should give it a bit more time!)

any thoughts? just worried that ive used up a milk supply or something

you say water is coming out of your nipple?

It's very watery milk/colostrum, don't worry. It's impossible to use your your milk supply - your body very cleverly makes it on demand.

its the same texture as water, sounds disgusting, but it doesnt smell like water IYSWIM. Managed to squirt some of it 5ft across the room

don't worry - your body will know that your baby isn't here yet and will make more colostrum for the birth.
