The last couple of days have being having period like cramps but today it’s a lot more intense, it’s all round my lowers tummy and round my back. I’m 35+1 but was told at my last appointment baby’s head was very low. I’ve never being through labour so I don’t know what any of it feels like, my first daughter was born at 34 weeks elective section as she has stopped growing . My discharge has being a lot heavier but it’s just milky, sorry for tmi I’ve suffered with constipation the whole way through pregnancy and over the last few days I’m having the urge to go a lot more.
Has anyone had this and it’s just being normal for 35 weeks?
i don’t want to ring my maternity unit incase it’s all just normal pains 😟

Start making plans to go in OP... sounds like early labour.

Good luck

Call the unit, they will guide you. Could be early labor,
mine started like that.

And good luck too

This took me right back as mine are adults now. I had the feeling that they were so low down that they were going to just burst out and the pressure was actually quite painful.
I think as your DC came at 35/40 all be it for a different reason you need to get some advice from your midwife.
Hopefully there is still room for baby to change position and you'll be more comfortable.
Wishing you well

Rang my obstetric unit and they advised me to have a bath. I had a pain come on about 10 minutes ago and my belly went really hard. That’s being the first that has happened 🫣

Maybe time it if it keeps happening?

Hi @Kcampbell96 I'm 38+1 and have been having similar for a few weeks now, with lots of tightenings.

How are you getting on?
