Episitomy didn't heal properly

Had my first child 2 1/2 years ago and my episitomy stitches came slightly undone during healing so the lips part healed apart. It doesn't cause me issues except sometimes peeing everywhere if I hover, itchiness and sometimes uncomfortable wedgies.

Saw gyn who said they could fix it but I would need a general anaesthetic and always a risk it could make sex painful. Worried about these things and that it could be more itchy if it's messed with more.

Anyone else had this? I can't be the only person this has happened to!

If I were you I’d get it fixed now. I didn’t get an opinion on mine, I assumed they wouldn’t do anything, And I regret it now.

Why do you regret it? I don't want to have it fixed yet as I want more children first.

Because I’ve reached peri menopause age now, and everything relaxes, so I wish I’d had it fixed at the time.

Mine healed similar. Doesn’t cause me any problems though.
