MW said not to come in til about 2/3 cm dialated and it was 'all hotting up' - but how do I know when this is?

Contractions feel really sore now - between 4-6 mins apart and over a minute in length.

Peachy is passing on kellymom's recommended links on flat nipples

ImightbeLulumama · 22/04/2008 11:46

gawd bless peachy!

PortAndLemon · 22/04/2008 11:46

Now I come to think of it, what is midwife doing inspecting her nipples anyway? It's not exactly what you want when you're in labour in hospital, is it?

omg how deflating. you're need to be as positive as possible when you're in labour to get you through it and this mws making her feel down by telling her she can't bf can anyone tell her about breast crawl? don't let her do what i did when i was having trouble latching ds on and let the mws shove my boob in ds' face, scare the life out of him and give him an aversion to feeding
