Cervix high and couldn't place pessary

I'm 41 weeks 5 days m, I've had 2 unsuccessful sweeps as my cervix is too high last night I had a pessary and she said she couldn't put it in its optimal position as my cervix is too high still.
I'm now due in tonight to have my waters broken/ hormone drip.
I'm mentally exhausted, I've suffered mentally throughout the pregnancy not knowing or being in control and my brain just tells me all the negatives all the time. I'm really deflated that I'm being induced as I've heard that it's more painful and I won't be allowed in the birth pool.
I'm really just seeking any advice from anyone who has had a similar experience. As I'm also not looking forward to being kept in tonight knowing I've had no signs xx

What time are you in tonight @Np15? Sending you a big hug - you've got this!

I had an induction last week and felt the same as you going in to it. Inductions are hard work but once it’s over you’ll forget all about it and be on such a high after meeting your baby. I chose to have the epidural before the drip went in. Wishing you the best of luck, it’ll all be worth it in the end

Just realised your post is a few days old now. I hope it all went well!
