22m age gap - VBAC?

Just found out I'm pregnant - my eldest was a C Section, planned due to breach. They will be 22m apart. I would love a VBAC, any positive stories? Is this too small a gap to have a VBAC?

Exactly the same age gap between my 2, I had a c section due to reduced movements. I did start an induction but stopped after the first pessary.

This time round I went into labour at 39+5, slow laboured for 2 days, on and off contractions. Contractions ramped up at 40 weeks exactly, was 5cm at 4pm and admitted to delivery suite, waters broke at 8pm still at 5cm. Was fully dilated at 1am & delivered at 4:05am on 40+1. I did need forceps but honestly did not bother me at all.

I was booked in for a c section at 40+5 which I was going to move back to 40+10, but really was not bothered either way, I cried when they told me I was 5cm and could be admitted to DS.

Hope this helps and happy to answer any questions ☺️

Fuck that. C section all the way

Similar age gap, had an emergency c section the first time and successful vbac for the second.

I had a VBAC with DC2 15 months after an emergency C-section with DC1. It was fine.

I attempted one with 15 month gap but sadly ended in EMC and much worse than my first birth due to previous section BUT i don't regret trying and currently 38 weeks with my third and really really wanted vba2c but after a second opinion both consultants reluctantly got me to agree to a section. I genuinely really don't want one and if I went into spon labour I'd go with it and see it as fate as my others were overdue but I do think medically they are steering me towards the safest option

Interestingly, my section with DC1 csused more of an issue for my third birth. So I had a successful VBAC after 15 months, but my 3rd birth (5 years after the section) ended up a planned section due to placenta praevia, which they said was due to the womb adhering to 5 year old scar tissue from the first section.
