Lost mucus plug with cervical stitch

I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and had a cervical stitch put in at 16 weeks due to previous pre term delivery (30 weeks).

I’m due to have the stitch taken out at 35/36 weeks but last night I lost my mucus plug. Does this mean labour is going to start by itself?
Do I need to ring the hospital to get the stitch taken out?

It doesn't necessarily mean labor is going to start, but I would defo ring the midwife and explain what has happened etc given your history, have you had cramps or anything?
