6 months post csection

Hey, basically I had a csection 6 months ago and I've been suffering with lower abdo pain for the last couple months, my gp sent me for a scan and the scan was normal thankfully however she did note that there were still two dissolvable stitches inside and showed me on the scan images, she stated this was normal and could take a lot longer. However upon researching online it seems as though normally this isn't the case and they'd have normally dissolved by now... anyone else had this or have any expertise on this?

Not quite 6 months but about 2 months after my second c section I had some pain start around my scar and in the end I had a stitch make its way up through my skin somehow and I had to physically pull it out myself. It was a good 6cm long and gross. The pain stopped immediately after it came out and the little wound it came out from healed up.
