has anyone used senekot tablets during pregancy? are they supposed to be harmful to the baby? thanks

i was advised to use fibregel, it's not the same as senekot but it worked for me.

No you shouldn't. In late pregnancy laxatives can cause bowel cramps which can cause contractions.

Soft fruits, plenty of water, usually do the trick.
