Hello
I'll be moving over to Cardiff at the end of January from New Zealand and I’m due mid-March. We previously lived in the UK for 8 years before 2021. I’m a dual citizen but I won't be considered a NHS resident when I give birth. Therefore I’m looking for a private hospital, consultant etc to contact now to arrange my birth. Do these exist in Cardiff? I'm having trouble finding one. My research so far points to having to go to London which I don’t want to do. Happy to go to Bristol
Thanks for your help,
First time mum

Congratulations on your PG. I'm not from that area but I can't remember ever seeing a post about Private Wings anywhere outside London.

Would a Private MW be an option or are you too high risk for a Home Birth?

I do know you can get private consultants outside London. But I think the only private maternity hospitals/wings are inside London. The ones outside London use NHS facilities as normal.
