Hello I am 38+2

I was told by my midwife that the baby's head was engaged at the end of last week and on a CTG on Wednesday this week they could detect 'low level tightenings'

Since then I've had lots of Brixton hicks, pressure In my bum and lower back cramps, along with bursts or nesting and low energy and a return of morning sickness. Is this standard for this stage of pregnancy or a sign that something could be starting?

Could be, or it could still take some time. I’ve had everything you’ve described for weeks and still no signs of baby. I’m 40 weeks today. It’s very frustrating.

Could be but not necessarily. I am 2nd time Mum I had all that from 35weeks! My DS2 didn't want to budge. I was induced (for health reasons ICP) at 40+12. I was 4cm and needed waters breaking and some syntocin.
I would just carry on and not fixate over symptoms.
