MARSLADY - help please with IM's in North London

I was recommended to shout out for Marslady's help!

I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my first and am seriously considering booking an IM for continuity of care - although I wish to have a hospital or birth centre birth.

I found Sage Femmes details on the IM website and am due to have a consultation with Nyree Wright.
Has anyone used her before? Does she come recommended? Alternatively,do you have recommendations for an IM operating in North London.

Thanks!

Hello - am not Marslady, just a midwife who spotted your thread.

As one person commented, how you feel about an IM when you meet her is most important.

We're all required to maintain certain safety standards and skills - more important is whether YOU feel comfortable and that you might be able to build a trusting relationship.

Try the Independent Midwives Association site for those in your area.

I'd meet a few, then choose.

Good luck!

Hi Grad... sorry got a client brewing so haven't been about much today.

Like kerrymidwife says... you need to meet her and see how she fits with you. I've heard only good things about her but have had no contact with her personally.

Here's the Independent Midwives Association website. You should be able to find some close to you from here hth
