VBAC after EMCS/Placental Abruption

Hi all,

About to start trying for baby no.2 so well ahead of myself for asking this question. I had an induction of labour which was horrible and long (will never not regret the induction) anyway long story short my placenta abrupted which led to an EMCS unfortunately under GA as spinal didn’t take. I really feel I can’t face being in theatre again I have horrible memories of them telling me they had to put me under.

i know VBAC’s are more common now and sometimes encouraged, but with the abruption would docs not allow it?

Really want to atleast try! But then I worry that if it ended up in EMCS the spinal wouldn’t take again and it would be under GA.

anyone been in a similar situation?

TIA

You really need a professional medical opinion on this one.
