Worried I’ve got a prolapse - looking for reassurance

I am 5/6 days post partum with my second baby. He came quickly and was almost 10lb so a big baby. I needed an episiotomy and have tried to rest as much as possible but I’ve started feeling more myself so the last 2 days I’ve been out for a short walk and feeling more able to move around.
I also have a 3 year old and yesterday he was crying and asking to be picked up so instinctively I did it but as I did I felt something go and I have been in discomfort ever since. Initially I thought I might have popped a stitch but my symptoms are tenderness in my pelvis and heaviness in my vagina. It’s quite uncomfortable in one specific place around my pubic region, if I press it hurts. Does this sound like prolapse? I’m really worried this is now something I’m going to have to live with, obviously it’s still very early days so maybe it’ll all sort itself out with my pelvic floor exercises but I’m looking for some reassurance.

That does sound worrying. And way to early to be going out and about!
Where I am the Midwives are on-call to help postpartum the first 4 weeks. They come to your house if needed and would check me down below and my uterus.
How does it work where you are? If not get into the Gp or your OBGYN there ahoupd be some PP after care.

Is anyone at home to help? partner? Family? So they can take toddler out.
