My 2nd labour was mainly at home in private. I was upright all the time and found myself feeling very relaxed and dancey in the bathroom. Was most surprised but went with it. Then moved on to transition and git to hospital in time to push!

I did. DH still imitates my birth dancing and, um, chanting. It's not something you plan is it. It just seems to happen. It really helped me ride the waves of contractions.

hmmmm does it count if the midwife tells you to do it? I got ordered to walk around (when fully dilated FFS!) to get things moving a bit quicker- no way was I doing that so stood leaning on DH doing elephant walk type stuff stood in one place. I suspect it would have looked like weird tribal dance!
