Has anyone had a vbac quite close to there c section delivery? There will be 16 months between my due date and last c section delivery and I'm really unsure what to do, I would love to have a natural delivery but really I just want to go with the safest option, I just wondered if
1.anyone has had a vbac this close

  1. If the planned c section healing time is better than emergency section healing time as have heard it is.

I know there are pros and cons to both I just wondered of others experience :)

(It took years to fall pregnant with our first but the seconds happened straight away which we didn't expect hence the close gap!)

Thank you :)

Hi OP, congratulations! My best friend had a c section with her first and had her second baby vaginally 13 months later with no issues, totally straightforward birth no intervention required, so it is possible! Obviously every body is different and be sure to discuss with your midwife but it is possible x

My cousin did, had no issues. With her 2nd.

I attempted one at 15m PP but ended with another EMC I don't regret trying though, I pregnant again and do have an elc booked this time but if I go into spontaneous labour prior to the date I will try for a vba2c
