Hi, anyone had a t cut during a c section and gone on to have a successful vbac in a second pregnancy? I’d love to hear other people’s experiences as after having my first baby the consultant said I will need a c section again next time but I really want to try a vbac following the awful first c section.

A classical incision (the vertical part of your T incision) has a far higher chance of uterine rupture during labour. A quick Google says 4-9% chance. I'm a risk taker, but that is not one I would be taking.

I have a J shaped cut on the inside because the surgeon was in a hurry to get ds out and he ripped my womb in his haste. On the outside it's just a normal bikini line scar, just a bit longer. I didn't have any more dc after that but I was advised at the time to have a c-section again if I had another baby.
