Hi
I have had 4 c sections. On my last one 2 years ago I was told my womb was paper thin and not to have another baby... I am now desperate for 1 more. Has anyone been told this and gone on to have another baby?

Hi I’m in the same boat and just found this! Have you made a decision?

well some of those people won’t be able to respond for obvious reasons.
why would you risk it? Is your urge for an imaginary child greater than that of the living ones?
You will have a much higher risk of early miscarriage- is that worth going through with a family if you could avoid it?
it would be a high risk pregnancy with risk of early delivery and birth defects.
they don’t tell you to stop for fun.

Mine wasn’t actually quite as clear cut as that as they said they could send me for scans to assess if there was actually a problem with my womb after it had healed from my last section. Some of the studies I’ve read also indicate that a uterine window in one pregnancy doesn’t actually show an increased risk of a uterine rupture in a subsequent pregnancy. So I think if it was as black and white as ‘dont, you’ll die’ then it would be an easy decision but like everything there are an awful lot of grey areas.
