I had an ELCS 4 weeks back and my incision (which appears quite messy with a bit of skin/fat? hanging out) still keeps oozing and looks wet . I’ve been following the advice of taking showers, letting water run over it and patting it dry with dry towel. Been to the labour ward a couple of times to have it checked but keep getting told that it will heal. On the last visit a doctor said that the last layer was not stitched properly so fat from the layer below was poking out. Not sure if anyone’s had this issue? Any recommendations please? It’s making me so stressed and worried.
