Nesting

I appear to be nesting today...cant seem to sit still and wanting to get things tidy.

Does this usually mean birth is imminent?

How long between nesting and the birth did you go?

Thanks

I nested for a week (well, baked muffins, had a pedicure and worried about defrosting the freezer, which was as close as I came)
then had two days of sulking grumpiness akin to PMT
then dd was born...

I am 37 weeks and have been nesting for about 3 weeks!

Unfortunately I am already nesting like mad and am only 18 weeks!

However I think when it comes down to the real panic and incredible need to do things like clean inside your washing machine (yep me at 39 weeks) and varnish the front step at 7.30 am (day before labour) then things are close!

I spent about a month systematically clearing out the entire house, all the wardrobes, cupboards and drawers, cleaning and washing all the baby stuff and so forth.
