When should I book c section for?

When did you book yours (after 40 weeks)?

I’m going to have an elective c section if I go overdue, my dr is asking when I want this for and is suggesting 41 weeks exactly. I think my dates are slightly off, and I think the baby is around 4 days behind the due date they’ve given me. So I think 41 weeks would actually be 40+3

I want to give the baby enough time to arrive naturally if possible and obviously avoid a c section if I can
but not leave it too late that they’re getting too big or at risk in there.
what do you think? Any advice on how to decide?
