Walking and more walking, gravity helps things to shift, so stand up and get pacing!

Sparkler · 31/03/2008 22:37

Am off to bed now but wanted to wish you luck!!

Nipple stimulation (Use a breast pump, if you have one. 15 mins, alternate sides for an hour. Can do up to 3 hours in a day iirc).

Walking.

Staying upright.

Going up and downstairs sideways - crablike.

Anything that keeps your baby's head down on your cervix is good but ime nipple stimulation is the most effective.

Good luck!

walking and leaning over a table for instance and wriggle your hips if this makes sense. |Hope all goes well!!!

MarsLady · 31/03/2008 22:43

walk up and down the stairs sideways!

Has lulu been by?

Olihan · 31/03/2008 22:43

I've beaten lulu to nipple stim .

MarsLady · 31/03/2008 22:44

Oh she'll be by! She always comes by! lol

Well done Oli!

I found sitting and bouncing on a pilates/ birth ball helped to keep them coming.

Get checked at hosp if your waters have started to break and labour is still not established. They'd prob want you to do reg temp tests to make sure there's no possibility of infection.

Good luck

rdk · 01/04/2008 22:11
