Looking for advice from Irish mums or mums-to-be re hospital

Hi just wondering if any of you can tell me good things about Mount Carmel, I'm booked in, but two people have given me horror stories as soon as I told them that's where I was going . My consultant has come highly recommended - that's why I chose him. What can I do to check it out? Or make people hold their tongues...?

Could anyone help with this pleeeeease?

I don't know the hospital, but if you have an excellent consultant, then you should be just fine. They will tell people what to do and keep an eye on you and are literally ready for anything when the time comes.
