When did you go into labour with your second?

2nd time mum in the making. I went into labour at 39 with my son. Wondering what the difference was with your two pregnancies? Was your second baby earlier or later?

Later that the first. 40+6 40+12

36 weeks with first, 38+2 with second, 39+4 with third.

40+4 with first , 40+3 with second

36 and 38 weeks, impatient babies I guess.

Nearly 42 with my first, nearly 38 with my second

Due date. He was born half an hour into the next day, after 2 hours! (31 first time)

2nd baby was a day later than the 1st baby. Both around a week late

I had a section at 39 weeks with my first (with no signs of labour) and started having contractions at 38 weeks with my second.

38 +1 with first
39 + 1 with my second

Second was much later.

39+6 with DC1 but 41+3 with DC2.

First baby came exactly on due date and second I was induced two weeks early due to obstetric cholestasis (quick delivery and everything fine)

39 for 1st with 30hour labour. 37+1 for 2nd with 2 hour labour

DD labour started exactly on 40 weeks. DS 39+6 so pretty much the same.

41 then 41+1!

42 weeks with ds1. Ds2 arrived on his edd!

37 weeks with my second.

38w exactly with first

39+3 with second - 24hrs after she turned head down from being breech.

Both times, i went into labour within 48hrs of being diagnosed with very high blood pressure (DD1) and preeclampsia (DD2), so my body is clearly very good at knowing when its time for a speedy exit!!

1st baby was born on due date and 2nd came 5 days early
