Trapped wind 2.5 months after second c-section

I had my second c-section on January 15 and now, 2.5 months after the birth, it still feels as if something has been slightly "rearranged" in my bladder/bowel/vaginal region. Although there's nothing too drastic or painful to report,I frequently experience 'sharp' trapped wind that I can feel all round my pelvic bone and vaginal area (quite weird!), especially when I need to move my bowel, and I sometimes have a sensation rather like after a catheter has recently been removed if I am dying for a wee in the morning (sorry if this is too much info!). These symptoms most certainly did not occur before the op.

Has anyone experienced anything similar and will the odd sensations eventually go away?

I didn't have much rest after the c-section (I have an infant to look after and moved house in mid Feb), so perhaps the nurse in my doctor's surgery is correct in thinking it might "all settle down"?

I had my section section on 23rd Jan but am not experiencing what you describe. I would get a second opinion as it doesn't sound quite right.

I had a section 9 years ago with DS and I was left with what I can only describe as ' a 3 second warning' situation. My bowls would just open and there was nothing I could do about it. I did not have the squits but it was very, very upsetting and by jove I knew the location of every toilet in town.

I also had wind and lots of discomfort, DS was dragged out and I ended up with a GA for stitching. It did improve though but it took a good 5 months.

Hope you get better soon.
