Diarrhoea- is labour imminent?

I've been having diarrhoea and softer bowel movements for the last week. Before that I was so constipated the entire pregnancy. Does this mean labour is imminent? I'm only 31 weeks pregnant with twins, and want them to cook a little longer!

Hard to say. Both times for me that was the case. One was at 39 wks and the other at 36wks.

Keep an eye out for other things, period like backache even if mild, contractions, waters breaking and if you've had you plug come away. Nausea as well.

If you have any doubts at all, call you maternity ward for advice. You can never be too careful. Follow your gut instinct

Thanks @MillshakePickle I haven't had any contractions or other obvious symptoms yet, although my lower back is a bit sore.
Will keep an eye on it. Hoping I have a few more weeks to go at least!
